Who We Are
Kneifl Tymber is a father-son tree care business, sawmill, and specialty hardwood shop in Yankton, South Dakota.
Our business began with helping farmers and landowners clear their pastures, removing invasive cedars and pruning trees along their properties. As we did work, we gathered logs and found a passion for turning them into beautiful, usable pieces of wood. We added a sawmill to our operation and invested in a state-of-the-art vacuum kiln, allowing us to create products that meet the highest standard of quality.
Brandon Kneifl
A mechanic by trade, Brandon enjoys solving problems, working with his hands, and being outdoors with his wife and three children.
Kelly Kneifl
Kelly is a father of seven and grandfather of four with 35 years of manufacturing leadership experience. He's an avid outdoorsman and loves to build things in his barn.
The Crew
Kyle and Logan make up The Crew. Kyle is a tree care expert who simply loves trees, while Logan is a carpenter, equipment operator, and tree care apprentice.

As experts in tree health, we’ll handle pruning and maintenance while also taking care of tree removal, ensuring a complete cleanup and minimal disturbance to your property.
Wood Products
We don’t take shortcuts, we make sure cuts.
Our specialty hardwoods are cut and milled for live-edge slabs, lumber and boards, and custom orders. We locally source as much of our wood as possible, using a vacuum-drying process to preserve dimensional stability and sterilize the product against pests.
